There are plenty of different drinks available these days that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the simplest ways to find out which the best quality wines are is to find reviews. That way you will have some idea of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of discovering great wines.
I did always drink cocktails and have a tasty Spymaster recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Spymaster recipe uses only these ingredients:

I have also tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to judge a wine based on the country where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in regions not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine reviews to allow you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I like to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate comments on the wine you are contemplating purchasing.
