A small glass or two of wine now and then is not only loosening for heaps of people, it is also reported by many to have a number of health benefits. While not proven, consuming wine, and red wine in particular, is thought to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases, provide a certain level of cancer protection and can possibly also reduce the signs of aging.
Grenache Wine in Hillsboro
While I do not drink much wine on a week to week basis, I do delight in a glass of Grenache wine from time to time, quite often when I'm having a night out with friends. The last time I headed out for dinner in Hillsboro was at Dunham's Bar & Restaurant. That place is a pretty cool place to eat dinner and drink a glass of Grenache wine. As an aside, you can also do a bit of celebrity spotting there as they say that Gwyneth Paltrow once went there. That may not be true though.
Speaking about personalities, that reminds me of this famous quote:
We did not change as we grew older we just became more clearly ourselves.
Not that I am aware who came up with that and not that I have any idea why I just right now remembered that but whatever...
Well, if you are wanting to have a fantastic small glass of wine (or two) in Hillsboro, try some Grenache wine, it's really great.

There are so many different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is not easy to know what to get. One of the best ways to know which the best quality wines are is to check out reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really one of the best way of finding great wines.
I did often drink cocktails and have a great Midnight Cowboy recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Midnight Cowboy recipe uses the following ingredients:
2 oz bourbon whiskey
1 oz dark rum
1/2 oz heavy cream
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during specials, you can easily break your budget by consuming some cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a delicious drink which is probably much healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I have a choice I prefer to order organic wine or preservative free wine. I love French wines but am glad to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to judge a wine based on the region where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines produced in countries not known for wine production.
There are many websites where you can find wine information to enable you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I like to read wine blogs because you can then get fairly instant opinions on the wine you are considering purchasing.
