A Southern Screw recipe

There are plenty of different beverages available now that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the easiest ways to discover which the best quality wines are is to find reviews. That means you will have some knowledge of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of finding great wines.

I used to always drink cocktails and have a great A Southern Screw recipe which I used to mix. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the A Southern Screw recipe consists of only these ingredients:

2 oz vodka
2 oz Southern Comfort® peach liqueur
6 oz Sunny Delight® orange juice
ice

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during discount times, you can easily break a budget by having a few cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will drink rose wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a delicious drink which is probably healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I have a choice I prefer to order Australian organic wine or preservative free wine. I love Australian wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to pick a wine based on the country where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in areas not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine reviews to allow you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I tend to read wine blogs because you can then get fairly instant comments on the wine you are thinking of drinking.

If you are interested in organic wines then check out Treehugger for information on how purchasing organic produce is less damaging for out planet. Wikipedia also has some great articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.

If you have a favourite wine which you love to drink then spread the word by leaving us a brief comment or if you have any questions such as how to choose a good wine or anything about champagne then ask us now!
