There are many different beverages available these days that it is not easy to know what to get. One of the best ways to know which the best wines are is to read reviews. That means you will have some inclination of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really a great way of choosing excellent wines.

I would often drink cocktails and have a great Affair recipe which I used to mix. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Affair recipe consists of these ingredients:

2 oz strawberry schnapps
2 oz orange juice
2 oz cranberry juice
club soda

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are expensive! Even during specials, you can easily break the budget by having some cocktails. So now, more often than not I will choose white wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is probably much healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to buy organic wine or no added preservative wine. I enjoy American wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to choose a wine based on the region where it is produced, you can be amazed at the quality of wines produced in areas not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine social media sites because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are considering buying.
