There are plenty of different drinks available in the shops that it is not easy to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to find out which the best wines are is to find reviews. That way you will have some idea of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really one of the best way of choosing delicious wines.

I used to mostly drink cocktails and have a tasty Algonquin Bloody Mary recipe which I used to mix. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Algonquin Bloody Mary recipe includes the following ingredients:

2 oz vodka
4 oz tomato juice
juice of 1/2 limes
1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
6 dashes Tabasco® sauce
salt
pepper
1 lime wedge

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during happy hour, you can simply break a budget by having a few cocktails. So now, more often than not I will drink white wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is most probably much healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I have a choice I prefer to order organic wines or low sulphate wine. I adore Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have even tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to judge a wine based on the location where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in areas not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine information to help you make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get immediate comments on the wine you are contemplating drinking.

If you are interested in organic wines then check out Treehugger for help on how purchasing organic produce is less harmful for the environment. Wikipedia also has some great articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.

If you have a particular wine which you like to drink then spread the word by leaving us a brief comment or if you have any questions such as which cheap wines are the best or anything about champagne then ask us and we will get back to you!
