There are so many different beverages available in the shops that it is not easy to know what to get. One of the easiest ways to discover which the best value for money wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some idea of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really a great way of discovering delicious wines.

I used to mostly drink cocktails and have a great Anejo Highball recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Anejo Highball recipe consists of these ingredients:

1 1/2 oz anejo rum
1/2 oz Orange Curacao liqueur
2 oz ginger beer
1/4 oz fresh lime juice
2 dashes Angostura® bitters

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during discount times, you can easily break a budget by consuming a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will stick to white wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a great drink which is most probably much healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever possible I prefer to drink Australian organic wine or no added preservative wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have even tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to pick a wine based on the location where it is produced, you can be shocked at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine reviews to enable you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I tend to read wine social media sites because you can then get fairly instant comments on the wine you are considering buying.
