There are many different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the easiest ways to discover which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. That way you will have some knowledge of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of finding great wines.
I would often drink cocktails and have a good Applejack Collins recipe which I used to mix. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Applejack Collins recipe includes only these ingredients:
2 oz Applejack® brandy
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp superfine sugar
4 dashes orange bitters
soda water

It is not often a good idea to judge a wine based on the country where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in regions not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine information to help you make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I prefer to read wine social media sites because you can then get immediate feedback on the wine you are thinking of drinking.
