Astoria recipe

There are so many different drinks available now that it is confusing to know what to get. One of the best ways to find out which the best wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some knowledge of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really the best way of finding great wines.
I did mostly drink cocktails and have a good Astoria recipe which I used to mix. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Astoria recipe consists of only these ingredients:
2 oz gin
1/2 oz dry vermouth
1 dash orange bitters
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during happy hour, you can easily break a budget by drinking a couple of cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a delicious drink which is probably better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to order organic wines or no added preservative wine. I adore American wines but am happy to try anything. I have even tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to judge a wine based on the location where it is produced, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in regions not known for wine production.
There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to allow you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine forums because you can then get almost instant opinions on the wine you are thinking of purchasing.
If you are thinking of trying organic wines then check out Treehugger for details on how purchasing organic produce is less destructive for soils. Wikipedia also has some great articles on organic farms and organic food and wine.
