There are plenty of different drinks available in the shops that it is confusing to know what to get. One of the best ways to know which the best quality wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really one of the best way of finding great wines.
I used to mostly drink cocktails and have a great Avalon recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Avalon recipe includes these ingredients:
3 parts Finlandia® vodka
1 part Pisang Ambon® liqueur
6 parts apple juice
1 1/2 parts lemon juice
lemonade
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are expensive! Even during specials, you can simply break the budget by drinking a couple of cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will drink white wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a great drink which is probably healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to order Australian organic wine or no added preservative wine. I love American wines but am glad to try anything. I have also tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to judge a wine based on the region where it is made, you can be amazed at the quality of wines produced in regions not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine reviews to help you make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get almost instant feedback on the wine you are contemplating drinking.
