There are so many different drinks available now that it is not easy to know what to choose. One of the simplest ways to find out which the best value for money wines are is to read reviews. That way you will have some inclination of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really the best way of choosing great wines.
I would mostly drink cocktails and have a great Bahama Mama #3 recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Bahama Mama #3 recipe uses only these ingredients:
2 oz overproof rum
4 oz pineapple juice
4 oz coconut milk
1 splash grenadine syrup
1/2 banana
Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during happy hour, you can often break the budget by drinking a couple of cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will drink red wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a delicious drink which is most probably better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to drink Australian organic wine or low sulphate wine. I love Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to judge a wine based on the region where it is made, you can be amazed at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine recommendations to allow you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are considering drinking.
