There are so many different beverages available now that it is not easy to know what to get. One of the easiest ways to find out which the best wines are is to read reviews. That way you will have some inclination of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really a great way of finding delicious wines.

I did often drink cocktails and have a great Balmoral recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Balmoral recipe uses these ingredients:

1 1/2 oz Scotch whisky
1/2 oz sweet vermouth
1/2 oz dry vermouth
2 dashes bitters

Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are expensive! Even during discount times, you can often break a budget by having some cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will choose red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a delicious drink which is most probably much healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I have a choice I prefer to order organic wines or no added preservative wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am glad to try anything. I have also tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to choose a wine based on the region where it is made, you can be shocked at the quality of wines made in countries not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate feedback on the wine you are considering purchasing.
