There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the easiest ways to know which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. That way you will have some inclination of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really the best way of choosing delicious wines.
I would always drink cocktails and have a tasty Bart Simpson recipe which I used to make up. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Bart Simpson recipe uses only these ingredients:
1/2 oz Crown Royal® Canadian whisky
1/2 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1/2 oz peach schnapps
1 splash cranberry juice
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are expensive! Even during discount times, you can simply break a budget by consuming a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will choose red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a delicious drink which is probably much healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to drink organic wines or low sulphate wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have even tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to choose a wine based on the country where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in regions not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine information to enable you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I tend to read wine social media sites because you can then get fairly instant opinions on the wine you are contemplating buying.
