Basin Street recipe

There are many different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is confusing to know what to buy. One of the easiest ways to know which the best wines are is to check out reviews. That way you will have some inclination of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of discovering great wines.
I used to always drink cocktails and have a tasty Basin Street recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Basin Street recipe uses only these ingredients:
2 oz bourbon whiskey
1 oz triple sec
1 oz lemon juice
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during specials, you can often break a budget by consuming some cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will drink rose wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a delicious drink which is most likely healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to buy organic wine or preservative free wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to judge a wine based on the location where it is produced, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in areas not known for wine production.
There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to allow you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get fairly instant opinions on the wine you are considering purchasing.
If you are interested in organic wines then check out Treehugger for details on how choosing organic produce is less harmful for the environment. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic farms and organic food and wine.
