There are so many different beverages available now that it is difficult to know what to get. One of the easiest ways to discover which the best quality wines are is to check out reviews. That means you will have some knowledge of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really a great way of discovering excellent wines.

I did always drink cocktails and have a good Beachcomber #3 recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Beachcomber #3 recipe uses these ingredients:

1 1/2 oz white rum
1/2 oz triple sec
1/2 oz grenadine syrup
1 oz sweet and sour mix

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during happy hour, you can easily break your budget by drinking some cocktails. So now, more often than not I will stick to white wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a tasty drink which is most likely much healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I have a choice I prefer to buy organic wines or low sulphate wine. I love Australian wines but am glad to try anything. I have also tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to pick a wine based on the location where it is produced, you can be shocked at the quality of wines produced in countries not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine information to help you make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I prefer to read wine forums because you can then get almost instant opinions on the wine you are considering purchasing.

If you are interested in organic wines then check out Treehugger for help on how choosing organic wine is less damaging for soils. Wikipedia also has some great articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
