Beakers Blue recipe

There are so many different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is confusing to know what to get. One of the best ways to discover which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. That way you will have some idea of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really a great way of choosing great wines.

I would mostly drink cocktails and have a great Beakers Blue recipe which I used to make. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Beakers Blue recipe uses only these ingredients:

1 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
1 oz triple sec
1 oz Bacardi® Limon rum
1 splash Sprite® soda
1 splash sweet and sour mix

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are expensive! Even during happy hour, you can simply break a budget by having some cocktails. So now, more often than not I will drink rose wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a delicious drink which is most probably better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever possible I prefer to buy organic wine or low sulphate wine. I enjoy American wines but am happy to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to pick a wine based on the region where it is produced, you can be shocked at the quality of wines grown in countries not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine reviews to help you make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I like to read wine forums because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are thinking of drinking.

If you are thinking of trying organic wines then see Treehugger for information on how choosing organic wine is less damaging for soils. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic farms and organic food and wine.

If you have a favourite wine which you love to drink then spread the word by leaving us a comment or if you have any questions such as which cheap wines are the best or anything wine related then ask us and we will get back to you!
