There are many different drinks available these days that it is confusing to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to discover which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. That way you will have some knowledge of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really a great way of finding great wines.

I would often drink cocktails and have a tasty Berry Bananza recipe which I used to make. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Berry Bananza recipe includes only these ingredients:

3 oz vodka
3 oz UV® cherry vodka
3 oz orange juice
3 oz cranberry juice

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during happy hour, you can often break a budget by consuming a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will drink white wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is most probably better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to buy Australian organic wine or no added preservative wine. I adore Australian wines but am glad to try anything. I have also tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to pick a wine based on the location where it is grown, you can be shocked at the quality of wines made in countries not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine reviews to allow you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine forums because you can then get fairly instant feedback on the wine you are thinking of buying.

If you are interested in organic wines then check out Treehugger for details on how choosing organic wine is less destructive for out planet. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic farming and organic food and wine.
