There are so many different alcoholic drinks available now that it is difficult to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to find out which the best value for money wines are is to read reviews. That means you will have some knowledge of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of discovering great wines.
I did mostly drink cocktails and have a tasty Berry Fusion Martini recipe which I used to make up. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Berry Fusion Martini recipe uses only these ingredients:
1 oz Absolut® Kurant vodka
1/2 oz Hpnotiq® liqueur
1/2 oz creme de cassis
2 oz cranberry juice
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during happy hour, you can easily break the budget by having some cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a tasty drink which is probably healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to order organic wine or no added preservative wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am glad to try anything. I have even tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to pick a wine based on the country where it is produced, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in regions not known for wine production.
There are many sites where you can find wine reviews to enable you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get fairly instant feedback on the wine you are considering buying.
