There are many different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is difficult to know what to get. One of the best ways to know which the best quality wines are is to check out reviews. That way you will have some knowledge of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really the best way of choosing delicious wines.
I did often drink cocktails and have a great Black and Blue #2 recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Black and Blue #2 recipe uses only these ingredients:
1 oz blackberry schnapps
2 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
2 oz vodka
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are expensive! Even during discount times, you can easily break your budget by drinking a couple of cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will choose white wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a delicious drink which is probably better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to buy organic wines or preservative free wine. I love Australian wines but am willing to try anything. I have also tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is produced, you can be shocked at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.
There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine social media sites because you can then get immediate comments on the wine you are considering purchasing.
