There are many different drinks available these days that it is not easy to know what to choose. One of the simplest ways to discover which the best quality wines are is to check out reviews. That means you will have some inclination of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really the best way of finding great wines.
I would mostly drink cocktails and have a tasty Blonde Ron recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Blonde Ron recipe consists of these ingredients:
1 oz Bacardi® light rum
4 oz 7-Up® soda
ice
1 splash pineapple juice
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during discount times, you can easily break a budget by drinking a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will stick to white wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a delicious drink which is probably healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to drink organic wine or no added preservative wine. I enjoy American wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to judge a wine based on the location where it is produced, you can be amazed at the quality of wines grown in countries not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine information to allow you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I prefer to read wine social media sites because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are contemplating buying.
If you are thinking of trying organic wines then see Treehugger for details on how purchasing organic food is less destructive for out planet. Wikipedia also has some excellent articles on organic farms and organic food and wine.
