There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available now that it is confusing to know what to buy. One of the easiest ways to discover which the best wines are is to read reviews. That means you will have some inclination of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really a great way of choosing great wines.

I did often drink cocktails and have a good Bloody Jim recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Bloody Jim recipe includes these ingredients:

1 oz Jim Beam® bourbon whiskey
1 oz grenadine syrup
8 oz Coca-Cola®

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during happy hour, you can simply break your budget by consuming a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will choose white wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a great drink which is probably healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever possible I prefer to order organic wine or low sulphate wine. I adore French wines but am glad to try anything. I have even tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is grown, you can be shocked at the quality of wines grown in countries not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine information to enable you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I tend to read wine social media sites because you can then get immediate comments on the wine you are considering drinking.

If you are interested in organic wines then visit Treehugger for help on how purchasing organic wine is less damaging for soils. Wikipedia also has some great articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
