There are many different beverages available in the shops that it is not easy to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to know which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really a great way of choosing delicious wines.

I would mostly drink cocktails and have a great Bloody Mary #4 recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Bloody Mary #4 recipe uses only these ingredients:

2 oz lemon vodka
4 oz tomato juice
1/4 tsp minced, fresh dill
1 slice lemon

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during specials, you can often break a budget by drinking a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will stick to white wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is probably better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to buy organic wine or low sulphate wine. I love Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have even tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to judge a wine based on the location where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in regions not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine reviews to allow you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get immediate comments on the wine you are contemplating purchasing.

If you are interested in organic wines then see Treehugger for details on how buying organic wine is less destructive for out planet. Wikipedia also has some excellent articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
