Blue Balalaika recipe

There are many different beverages available now that it is confusing to know what to buy. One of the simplest ways to discover which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some knowledge of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really a great way of finding delicious wines.

I used to always drink cocktails and have a great Blue Balalaika recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Blue Balalaika recipe includes these ingredients:

2/3 oz vodka
2/3 oz Cointreau® orange liqueur
2/3 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
2/3 oz fresh lemon juice

Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during specials, you can simply break the budget by having some cocktails. So now, more often than not I will choose white wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a delicious drink which is probably better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to buy Australian organic wine or preservative free wine. I love American wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to judge a wine based on the country where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in countries not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine information to allow you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are thinking of purchasing.

If you are interested in organic wines then see Treehugger for details on how buying organic food is less harmful for out planet. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
