Bourbon Sangaree recipe

There are plenty of different beverages available now that it is confusing to know what to choose. One of the simplest ways to know which the best quality wines are is to check out reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really the best way of choosing great wines.

I did always drink cocktails and have a great Bourbon Sangaree recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Bourbon Sangaree recipe includes the following ingredients:

1/2 oz tawny port
1/8 tsp grated nutmeg
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp superfine sugar
2 tsp water
1 1/2 oz bourbon whiskey
2 1/2 oz club soda
1 twist lemons

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during specials, you can often break the budget by drinking a couple of cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will choose white wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a tasty drink which is most probably better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I have a choice I prefer to order organic wine or no added preservative wine. I adore French wines but am glad to try anything. I have even tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is made, you can be amazed at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine information to help you make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get fairly instant feedback on the wine you are thinking of buying.

If you are interested in organic wines then visit Treehugger for details on how choosing organic produce is less harmful for out planet. Wikipedia also has some great articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
