There are so many different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is confusing to know what to get. One of the simplest ways to discover which the best wines are is to check out reviews. That way you will have some inclination of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of discovering excellent wines.

I would mostly drink cocktails and have a good Bourbon Slush recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Bourbon Slush recipe includes only these ingredients:

7 cups water
3 cups bourbon whiskey
12 oz frozen lemonade
6 oz frozen orange juice
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups strong tea

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during discount times, you can easily break the budget by having a few cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will drink red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a great drink which is most likely healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever possible I prefer to order organic wines or low sulphate wine. I love French wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to choose a wine based on the region where it is produced, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in regions not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine recommendations to help you make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I tend to read wine social media sites because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are considering drinking.
