There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is not easy to know what to choose. One of the best ways to find out which the best value for money wines are is to read reviews. That means you will have some knowledge of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. I would often drink cocktails and have a great Boye Sparkle recipe which I used to make. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Boye Sparkle recipe uses the following ingredients:
3 1/2 oz Champagne
1/2 oz strawberry liqueur
1 oz mango juice
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during discount times, you can simply break the budget by consuming a few cocktails. So now, more often than not I will choose rose wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is most probably better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to drink organic wines or preservative free wine. I love French wines but am glad to try anything. I have even tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to judge a wine based on the region where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.
There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to allow you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I like to read wine forums because you can then get almost instant opinions on the wine you are considering purchasing.
