There are so many different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is not easy to know what to buy. One of the easiest ways to know which the best value for money wines are is to read reviews. That means you will have some idea of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of choosing great wines.
I would often drink cocktails and have a great Brandy Squirt recipe which I used to make up. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Brandy Squirt recipe consists of only these ingredients:
1 1/2 oz brandy
1 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tsp grenadine syrup
club soda
Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during specials, you can simply break the budget by consuming a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will drink red wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a tasty drink which is probably better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever I have a choice I prefer to buy Australian organic wine or low sulphate wine. I adore American wines but am happy to try anything. I have also tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to judge a wine based on the region where it is made, you can be amazed at the quality of wines produced in areas not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine reviews to enable you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are contemplating drinking.
