There are so many different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is not easy to know what to get. One of the best ways to discover which the best value for money wines are is to read reviews. That way you will have some idea of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really a great way of discovering great wines.

I used to always drink cocktails and have a good Brown Fox recipe which I used to make up. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Brown Fox recipe includes only these ingredients:

1 1/2 oz bourbon whiskey
3/4 oz benedictine herbal liqueur

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are expensive! Even during happy hour, you can easily break your budget by drinking some cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a delicious drink which is most likely better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I have a choice I prefer to order organic wines or no added preservative wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am willing to try anything. I have also tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to judge a wine based on the region where it is made, you can be shocked at the quality of wines made in areas not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine reviews to help you make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get fairly instant feedback on the wine you are thinking of buying.
