Burgundy Wine in Monessen

A small glass of wine every now and then is not only enjoyable for a lot people, it is also reported by many to have significant health benefits. Although not necessarily proven, a regular glass of wine, and red wine in particular, is widely thought to reduce the risk of heart disease, provide an increased amount of cancer protection and may also somewhat reduce the signs of aging.

Even though I do not drink much wine on a somewhat regular basis, I do relish in a glass of Burgundy wine from time to time, usually when I am having dinner with my friends. The last time I headed out for dinner in Monessen was at Gateway Deli. From my experience that's a great place to eat a meal and have a glass of Burgundy wine. Surprisingly, you can possibly also do some celebrity spotting there as someone told me that Tara Reid once had a drink there. However I'm not sure if I believe that.

While I'm thinking about well known celebrities, that reminds me of this not so well known line:

Peace and friendship with all mankind is our wisest policy, and I wish we may be permitted to pursue it.

I do not have any idea who came up with that and I do not have a clue why I just this moment remembered that but that's off topic...

Back to the drinks, if you are wishing to have an enjoyable glass of wine (or three) in Monessen, try some Burgundy wine, it's definitely worth the trouble.
