There are so many different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is confusing to know what to buy. One of the simplest ways to discover which the best wines are is to check out reviews. That way you will have some idea of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really one of the best way of finding delicious wines.
I would often drink cocktails and have a great Butterfly recipe which I used to mix. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Butterfly recipe consists of the following ingredients:
2 oz White Mozart® chocolate liqueur
1 oz Midori® melon liqueur
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during discount times, you can simply break your budget by having a couple of cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will stick to rose wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a delicious drink which is most probably much healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to drink organic wines or low sulphate wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am willing to try anything. I have also tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to pick a wine based on the location where it is produced, you can be amazed at the quality of wines produced in regions not known for wine production.
There are many sites where you can find wine reviews to allow you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine social media sites because you can then get immediate feedback on the wine you are thinking of purchasing.
If you are looking for more information on organic wines then see Treehugger for help on how choosing organic wine is less damaging for the environment. Wikipedia also has some excellent articles on organic farms and organic food and wine.
