There are so many different drinks available in the shops that it is not easy to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to know which the best wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really one of the best way of discovering delicious wines.
I used to mostly drink cocktails and have a good Buzz Lightyear recipe which I used to mix. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Buzz Lightyear recipe includes these ingredients:
2 oz Absolut® vodka
2 oz Midori® melon liqueur
3 oz fresh orange juice
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are expensive! Even during happy hour, you can easily break the budget by having a couple of cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to rose wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a great drink which is probably healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I have a choice I prefer to drink organic wine or low sulphate wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am willing to try anything. I have even tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to judge a wine based on the region where it is grown, you can be shocked at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.
There are many websites where you can find wine information to help you make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get fairly instant feedback on the wine you are thinking of drinking.
