There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is not easy to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to know which the best wines are is to check out reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really a great way of discovering delicious wines.

I would always drink cocktails and have a good Buzzby recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Buzzby recipe includes these ingredients:

50 ml vodka
50 ml peach schnapps
50 ml white rum
100 ml lemonade
75 ml lime juice

Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during specials, you can easily break the budget by having a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a delicious drink which is most probably better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I have a choice I prefer to drink organic wine or preservative free wine. I adore French wines but am willing to try anything. I have even tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to pick a wine based on the location where it is produced, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in areas not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get immediate comments on the wine you are considering buying.
