There are plenty of different beverages available now that it is not easy to know what to choose. One of the best ways to know which the best value for money wines are is to read reviews. That means you will have some knowledge of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really the best way of discovering delicious wines.
I did mostly drink cocktails and have a great Canadian Killer Kool-Aid recipe which I used to make. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Canadian Killer Kool-Aid recipe includes the following ingredients:
1/2 oz vodka
1 oz melon liqueur
1 oz amaretto almond liqueur
cranberry juice
Sprite® soda
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during happy hour, you can often break a budget by having a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will choose red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a tasty drink which is most likely better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to buy Australian organic wine or preservative free wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am glad to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to choose a wine based on the country where it is produced, you can be amazed at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine reviews to allow you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine blogs because you can then get fairly instant comments on the wine you are considering drinking.
If you are looking for more information on organic wines then see Treehugger for details on how choosing organic produce is less damaging for soils. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
