Candle in the Window recipe

There are plenty of different drinks available in the shops that it is difficult to know what to get. One of the best ways to know which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some idea of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really a great way of choosing great wines.

I would always drink cocktails and have a good Candle in the Window recipe which I used to make. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Candle in the Window recipe uses only these ingredients:

2 oz light rum
2 tsp bourbon whiskey
1 tsp dark creme de cacao
1 tsp cherry brandy
4 oz hot coffee
2 oz heavy cream

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during specials, you can easily break a budget by drinking some cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to white wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a tasty drink which is probably better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever possible I prefer to drink organic wines or low sulphate wine. I adore Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have also tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the region where it is grown, you can be amazed at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are thinking of buying.
