There are so many different beverages available now that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the simplest ways to find out which the best wines are is to check out reviews. That way you will have some knowledge of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really the best way of discovering excellent wines.
I used to often drink cocktails and have a tasty Captain Jack Sparrow #2 recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Captain Jack Sparrow #2 recipe includes the following ingredients:
2 oz Cabo Wabo® anejo tequila
1 oz Captain Morgan® Private Stock dark rum
3 oz Minute Maid® limeade soda
1 splash maraschino cherry juice
1/2 oz 99 Oranges® orange schnapps
2 maraschino cherries
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during happy hour, you can simply break your budget by drinking some cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will drink red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a delicious drink which is probably healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I have a choice I prefer to buy organic wines or low sulphate wine. I adore American wines but am glad to try anything. I have even tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to pick a wine based on the country where it is grown, you can be shocked at the quality of wines produced in regions not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine information to enable you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get almost instant opinions on the wine you are contemplating drinking.
If you are thinking of trying organic wines then see Treehugger for help on how choosing organic produce is less damaging for out planet. Wikipedia also has some excellent articles on organic farming and organic food and wine.
