There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is confusing to know what to buy. One of the easiest ways to discover which the best wines are is to check out reviews. At least that way you will have some idea of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really the best way of finding delicious wines.

I would mostly drink cocktails and have a great Caribbean Bulldog recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Caribbean Bulldog recipe includes the following ingredients:

1 oz Kahlua® coffee liqueur
1 oz Caribbean cream
2 oz milk
4 oz Coca-Cola®

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during specials, you can often break your budget by drinking a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will drink rose wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is most probably healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I have a choice I prefer to buy organic wines or low sulphate wine. I adore French wines but am happy to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to choose a wine based on the country where it is produced, you can be shocked at the quality of wines produced in countries not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get fairly instant comments on the wine you are contemplating buying.

If you are thinking of trying organic wines then visit Treehugger for help on how purchasing organic wine is less damaging for out planet. Wikipedia also has some great articles on organic farming and organic food and wine.
