There are many different drinks available in the shops that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the best ways to find out which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. That way you will have some inclination of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really a great way of finding great wines.
I did often drink cocktails and have a great Caribbean Murder recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Caribbean Murder recipe uses the following ingredients:
1 oz RedRum® rum
1/2 oz Malibu® coconut rum
1/2 oz Bacardi® Limon rum
3 oz pineapple juice
3 oz cranberry juice
1 splash grenadine syrup
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are expensive! Even during specials, you can simply break your budget by having a few cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will choose white wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a delicious drink which is most probably better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to buy organic wine or no added preservative wine. I enjoy American wines but am happy to try anything. I have even tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to judge a wine based on the country where it is produced, you can be shocked at the quality of wines produced in regions not known for wine production.
There are many websites where you can find wine information to allow you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get fairly instant feedback on the wine you are contemplating buying.
