There are many different drinks available in the shops that it is difficult to know what to choose. One of the simplest ways to know which the best wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some idea of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really the best way of discovering delicious wines.

I did often drink cocktails and have a good Chatham Cocktail recipe which I used to mix. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Chatham Cocktail recipe includes the following ingredients:

2 oz gin
1/2 oz ginger brandy
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp superfine sugar

Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during discount times, you can often break your budget by consuming some cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will drink red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is probably better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I have a choice I prefer to buy organic wine or preservative free wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am glad to try anything. I have also tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to judge a wine based on the region where it is made, you can be amazed at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine reviews to enable you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine social media sites because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are thinking of purchasing.

If you are looking for more information on organic wines then visit Treehugger for help on how purchasing organic produce is less destructive for out planet. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic farms and organic food and wine.
