There are so many different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is not easy to know what to get. One of the easiest ways to find out which the best quality wines are is to check out reviews. That way you will have some knowledge of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really a great way of finding delicious wines.
I did always drink cocktails and have a great Cherried Cream Rum recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Cherried Cream Rum recipe consists of only these ingredients:
1 1/2 oz light rum
1/2 oz cherry brandy
1/2 oz light cream
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are expensive! Even during happy hour, you can simply break the budget by drinking a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will stick to rose wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a tasty drink which is most likely much healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I have a choice I prefer to order Australian organic wine or low sulphate wine. I love French wines but am glad to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to judge a wine based on the country where it is produced, you can be amazed at the quality of wines produced in regions not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine information to allow you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I tend to read wine social media sites because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are thinking of drinking.
If you are looking for more information on organic wines then see Treehugger for help on how buying organic food is less destructive for the environment. Wikipedia also has some great articles on organic farming and organic food and wine.
