There are many different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the best ways to find out which the best value for money wines are is to check out reviews. That way you will have some knowledge of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really one of the best way of choosing excellent wines.
I would often drink cocktails and have a tasty Cluster Fuck recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Cluster Fuck recipe uses the following ingredients:
1/2 oz Tennessee whiskey
1/2 oz bourbon whiskey
1/2 oz tequila
1/2 oz light rum
1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz butterscotch schnapps
1 oz apple schnapps
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during discount times, you can often break the budget by drinking a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will drink red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a great drink which is probably healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to order Australian organic wine or low sulphate wine. I enjoy American wines but am glad to try anything. I have even tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the region where it is produced, you can be amazed at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.
There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to help you make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I tend to read wine blogs because you can then get almost instant feedback on the wine you are contemplating drinking.
