Colonial Cocktail recipe

There are so many different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is difficult to know what to get. One of the easiest ways to find out which the best quality wines are is to check out reviews. At least that way you will have some idea of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really one of the best way of discovering great wines.
I used to mostly drink cocktails and have a great Colonial Cocktail recipe which I used to mix. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Colonial Cocktail recipe consists of these ingredients:
1 1/2 oz gin
1/2 oz grapefruit juice
1 tsp maraschino liqueur
1 olive
Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during specials, you can simply break your budget by having a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a delicious drink which is most probably better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever I have a choice I prefer to drink organic wine or low sulphate wine. I love Australian wines but am willing to try anything. I have also tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to choose a wine based on the country where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in areas not known for wine production.
There are many websites where you can find wine reviews to help you make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine blogs because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are considering purchasing.
If you are looking for more information on organic wines then see Treehugger for information on how choosing organic wine is less damaging for the environment. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic farms and organic food and wine.
