There are plenty of different drinks available now that it is not easy to know what to get. One of the simplest ways to find out which the best wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some knowledge of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really one of the best way of choosing great wines.
I would often drink cocktails and have a good Colony Room Cocktail recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Colony Room Cocktail recipe consists of these ingredients:
1 dash Ricard® pastis
2 oz gin
2 dashes Noilly Prat® French vermouth
1 dash Angostura® bitters
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are expensive! Even during happy hour, you can simply break the budget by consuming a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will choose rose wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a great drink which is most probably better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to drink organic wine or no added preservative wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have also tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to pick a wine based on the location where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines produced in areas not known for wine production.
There are many sites where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I like to read wine forums because you can then get almost instant opinions on the wine you are considering drinking.
