There are so many different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is not easy to know what to get. One of the best ways to discover which the best value for money wines are is to read reviews. That means you will have some idea of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really a great way of discovering delicious wines.
I would often drink cocktails and have a good Coronado Cocktail recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Coronado Cocktail recipe includes these ingredients:
2 oz gin
1/2 oz White Curacao liqueur
2 oz pineapple juice
4 dashes Kirschwasser® cherry brandy
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are expensive! Even during happy hour, you can often break your budget by having a few cocktails. So now, more often than not I will choose white wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a great drink which is most probably much healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I have a choice I prefer to buy organic wine or no added preservative wine. I enjoy American wines but am willing to try anything. I have also tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines produced in regions not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine information to help you make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I like to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate comments on the wine you are considering buying.
