There are so many different drinks available now that it is confusing to know what to buy. One of the simplest ways to find out which the best quality wines are is to check out reviews. That way you will have some knowledge of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really one of the best way of choosing great wines.
I would mostly drink cocktails and have a good Cranberry Sunrise recipe which I used to mix. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Cranberry Sunrise recipe includes only these ingredients:
1 oz vodka
3 oz cranberry juice
3 oz orange juice
3 dashes grenadine syrup
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during happy hour, you can often break a budget by consuming a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is most likely better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever I have a choice I prefer to order organic wine or preservative free wine. I love French wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine reviews to help you make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine social media sites because you can then get immediate feedback on the wine you are contemplating purchasing.
