There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is not easy to know what to choose. One of the best ways to find out which the best value for money wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really one of the best way of finding delicious wines.
I used to mostly drink cocktails and have a good Crazy Moose recipe which I used to mix. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Crazy Moose recipe uses only these ingredients:
3/4 oz Canadian Club® whisky
1/4 oz maple syrup
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during happy hour, you can easily break a budget by consuming a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will stick to rose wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a great drink which is most likely much healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to drink organic wine or low sulphate wine. I enjoy French wines but am willing to try anything. I have also tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to pick a wine based on the region where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines produced in countries not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine recommendations to allow you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I tend to read wine social media sites because you can then get fairly instant comments on the wine you are contemplating drinking.
