There are plenty of different drinks available now that it is confusing to know what to buy. One of the easiest ways to know which the best quality wines are is to find reviews. That means you will have some idea of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really a great way of discovering excellent wines.

I did always drink cocktails and have a great Cricket recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Cricket recipe includes only these ingredients:

1 oz chocolate mint liqueur
1 oz white creme de cacao
1 oz cream
ice

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are expensive! Even during happy hour, you can easily break your budget by consuming a few cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a delicious drink which is probably much healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever possible I prefer to order organic wine or no added preservative wine. I adore American wines but am willing to try anything. I have even tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to judge a wine based on the country where it is produced, you can be shocked at the quality of wines grown in countries not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get fairly instant feedback on the wine you are thinking of purchasing.
