There are plenty of different drinks available now that it is not easy to know what to choose. One of the best ways to find out which the best wines are is to check out reviews. At least that way you will have some idea of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really the best way of discovering great wines.
I would often drink cocktails and have a great Cuba Libre recipe which I used to make. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Cuba Libre recipe includes the following ingredients:
2 oz light rum
juice of 1/2 limes
Coca-Cola®
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are expensive! Even during specials, you can simply break your budget by drinking a couple of cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will choose white wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a great drink which is probably much healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to drink Australian organic wine or preservative free wine. I love American wines but am glad to try anything. I have even tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.
There are many websites where you can find wine reviews to enable you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get fairly instant opinions on the wine you are contemplating purchasing.
