Dandy Cocktail recipe

There are so many different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the best ways to know which the best quality wines are is to check out reviews. That way you will have some knowledge of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really a great way of choosing delicious wines.

I would mostly drink cocktails and have a tasty Dandy Cocktail recipe which I used to make up. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Dandy Cocktail recipe uses these ingredients:

1/2 oz rye whiskey
1/2 oz Dubonnet® Rouge vermouth
3 dashes Cointreau® orange liqueur
1 dash Angostura® bitters

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during specials, you can easily break a budget by drinking a few cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will drink rose wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a great drink which is most probably much healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever possible I prefer to buy organic wine or low sulphate wine. I adore Australian wines but am glad to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in regions not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get fairly instant comments on the wine you are considering drinking.

If you are looking for more information on organic wines then see Treehugger for help on how choosing organic wine is less harmful for soils. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
