There are so many different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is confusing to know what to buy. One of the best ways to know which the best value for money wines are is to read reviews. That way you will have some knowledge of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of discovering delicious wines.

I did mostly drink cocktails and have a tasty Death in the Afternoon recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Death in the Afternoon recipe includes these ingredients:

5 oz chilled Champagne
1 oz Pernod® licorice liqueur

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during specials, you can often break your budget by consuming a couple of cocktails. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a delicious drink which is most likely healthier and with fewer calories.

I have even tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to judge a wine based on the country where it is grown, you can be amazed at the quality of wines produced in countries not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine social media sites because you can then get immediate feedback on the wine you are considering drinking.
