Desert Shield recipe

There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available now that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the simplest ways to find out which the best quality wines are is to find reviews. That means you will have some inclination of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really a great way of choosing great wines.
I used to always drink cocktails and have a good Desert Shield recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Desert Shield recipe includes these ingredients:
1 1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz cranberry liqueur
4 oz cranberry juice
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during discount times, you can simply break your budget by having a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a great drink which is most likely healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to buy organic wine or low sulphate wine. I adore American wines but am happy to try anything. I have also tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines produced in countries not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine information to allow you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are contemplating buying.
If you are interested in organic wines then check out Treehugger for details on how buying organic produce is less destructive for soils. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
