There are so many different beverages available in the shops that it is not easy to know what to get. One of the easiest ways to find out which the best value for money wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some idea of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really a great way of discovering great wines.
I did often drink cocktails and have a good Diamond Fizz recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Diamond Fizz recipe consists of only these ingredients:
2 oz gin
juice of 1/2 lemons
1 tsp powdered sugar
chilled Champagne
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during specials, you can often break the budget by consuming a few cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to rose wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a great drink which is probably much healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I have a choice I prefer to drink organic wine or low sulphate wine. I love American wines but am happy to try anything. I have also tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to judge a wine based on the country where it is grown, you can be shocked at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.
There are many websites where you can find wine information to allow you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine social media sites because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are contemplating drinking.
